Not queuing some albums

I am having trouble with Muso queuing some albums. I suspect it may be something to do with diacritics in the folder / file name. For example:
Janáček; Smetana; String Quartets
Dvořák; Symphony No. 8 _ The Golden Spinning Wheel
Scriabin, Janácek; Songs & Poems
Canteloube; Songs of the Auvergne\Disc 1\03 Songs of the Auvergne, 1s...st Series_ Trois Bourrées.flac
Windows doesn't seem to mind these characters and LMS will handle them fine from the web interface, but Muso can't send them to the LMS queue.
I recall having problems with the caron in Dvořák some time ago so I got my ripper to replace the characters in the folder/file names. However, the problem with stress/acute accents is new, I think.
Now the folder name is created by Picard from the MusicBrainz database, not by the ripping software. I guess I could re-run Picard and rename the folders (there is an option to replace non-ASCII characters) if that's the only answer.
