I use Muso and HQP on the same machine and have a temp folder for copying the files from my library on the server to my local drive.
My transfer speeds from the server are generally 110-120 Mb per second (LAG'd NICs from server to switch).
Perhaps why I generally only have issues with larger files.

I have Muso on a Win10 Tablet so I controll HQP remotely without buffer folder.
Music is on the HQP PC.

I have HQP on the same machine as Muso and do not get this error on screen.
However, my logs show the error.
In the following session the files were copied to the temp location but nothing registered in HQP.
Muso's log showed that it processed all of the files.

I've been looking into this today (sorry for the delay).
In 2.6.13 I've put a 5s delay between starting HQPlayer locally and trying to do any comms with it, that seems to sort the initial handshaking out (it takes HQPlayer about 5s to visibly start up anyway).
