Illegal characters in path

Today I had a go at the Pivot Viewer option. I launched it but after a while I got a Windows error message stating that there were illegal characters in the path and subsequently muso stopped working. I then ran muso in diagnostics mode. I could replicate the error but muso always stops working before writing anything to the log file. Jeremy I enclose a screen print image with the error details so that you may try and help me finding the offending character(s). FYI I am running version 2.5.11.0

OK thanks I've put some code in for the next version which should catch & handle that error.

I am still unable to locate the offending character(s). Can you give me a hand here please? I am attaching the log file.

Are you running 2.5.12 or later? I'm sure I fixed the original issue - and I can't see any error in that log file.

Well if you get the alert like in your first post, please capture that again, since it cannot be falling over in the same place as I put an exception handler in there, and I don't see any error in the log file.

That alert message no longer shows. I simply get a standard Windows popup stating that muso stopped working. Nothing else

The problem always happens when the program tries to read the 6226th album. If I remove 1 album from the db the program will then hang on getting to the 6225th album. What is the index order that muso uses for the pivot viewer? Alphabetically?
Edited - It seems that muso uses the date the folder was added to the db. However, it is almost impossible to try and find the problem using this approach.

Can you try to capture the issue again with a log file? I should be seeing lots more pivot-viewer-specific log messages if that is where it is failing.

I ran the pivot-viewer twice. Each time the program stopped at exactly the same album. Both events were logged on the attached file.

If I could ask you to install this debug version which has more diagnostics, and capture the error in the log file again please:
