Hello,
on behalf of a friend of mine I post the following issue with Muso 2.5:
He installed under win 2012R2 ( with network 4.5.1 active) Muso ver. 2.5
The software installed without any problems. But when he tried to start it, the following message appears:
SystemNullReferenceException
Stack Trace
at Muso.Browser..ctor(Boolean remote Control)
at Muso.Program.Main(String{} argv)
As a consequence, the program cannot be started.
Is there a chance to solve this issue??
Regards
Sigi
SystemNullReferenceException issue
Re: SystemNullReferenceException issue
I'm afraid I can't diagnose Windows 2012R2 issues as it's not one of the supported platforms, so it's a case of "use at your own risk".
Re: SystemNullReferenceException issue
We solved the problem in a somewhat unusual way by accident. I report here if someone gets the same error.
1. We deinstalled the standalone installer version 2.5
2.Then we tried the legacy version for xp, result: it worked
2. We deinstalled legacy version and installed the version 2.5 through the internet: no errors anymore and it works perfectly!
It is not reasonable, but it worked
Software: Win2012R2+ HQ-Player

Re: SystemNullReferenceException issue
Well that's an odd fix - I wonder if version 2.5's web installer would have worked without the legacy version being installed first.
I might try to diagnose as this may point to an issue with the standalone installer rather than the 2012R2 platform.
