I would like to create a list of the artists in the LMS / Muso database. Preferably in a format that Excel can import.
Can Muso help me with this?

You can use the Export to XML option from the File menu, unticking all the options that add extra unnecessary detail, & what you end up with is a catalog.xml file containing just artists and albums in the C:\Users\Public\Music\muso\catalog folder.
Then you can open this in Excel, choose the "Use the XML Source task pane", drag the Artist Name column from the XML Source Window to a worksheet, right-click in the cell in the worksheet and choose Import -> XML from the menu, and specify the source XML file again. You end up with all the artists listed in the column.
