LMS problems causing Muso to hang

I seem to have been having a number of problems with LMS recently. Although it says it is running, it does not communicate (e.g. with web interface). The added irritation is that this seems to cause Muso to hang. Restarting Muso does not work - it still hangs on starting. I appreciate that this is an LMS problem, which I still haven't managed to pin down even though it has been happening intermittently for several months, but is there a way that Muso can time-out if no connection is established, preferably with a helpful error message, rather than just waiting for ever? Thanks.

I'll see what can be done, but since my LMS does not hang it might be difficult to test a solution. Have you raised the issue of LMS hanging on the LMS forums?

I did raise it on the LMS forum, but no solutions were forthcoming!

Can you send me a muso.log so I can try to analyse where the delays are?

Will do next time it hangs. At the moment it is behaving.
