Hey there, long time no see. Hope all is well.
I have a couple of multidisc albums that are split into folders named "DISC ONE", "DISC TWO" etc and muso treats them as separate albums even though I have the DISCNUMBER and DISCTOTAL flags properly set. Can you help out please?
Thanks a bunch.
Album collation issue
Re: Album collation issue
You need to set the album organisation flag to "Parent Folder". So for each disk album:
1) Right click on it and choose "Edit Tracks",
2) In the db edit grid highlight all tracks (click any row then control-A, or click on the first and shift-click on the last), then choose the Edit option at the bottom,
3) In the track edit window set the Album Organisation to the second option ("by parent folder"), then click OK
4) Hit Apply in the db view
After you edit all disk albums in this way they should be pulled into the same album (provided the album name matches).
It normally recognises this situation automatically on a scan, if your folders are named "DISK 1", "CD 1" etc - but in this case the words "ONE", "TWO" etc may have thrown it.
