Ok so let's assume you have a "Best of" album from a particular artist. This "Best of" compilation has songs from many different years. What I'm trying to accomplish is that I want muso to display both when the track was released (I realize I'll have to manually input the release year for each individual track), as well as when the compilation itself was released.
Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this?

You could use a custom field for an additional year, but the album view won't show it. So you can't really do what you want unless you input the track year as part of the track title.
Please submit an enhancement request to have both a track year and an album year.
