New Albums - missing artwork

Post by oyvindo »

Hi,
Today - when I launched Muso, I noticed that several albums in the "New Albums" banner no longer had album art.
Yesterday, all was ok.
The albums are there, and they play correctly.
I did the screen capture while holding the mouse over one of the blank albums. You can see the text but not the mouse pointer itself)
The I did a partial and a full import again, but that did not fix the issue.... (?)

Yes, (sorry - I had forgotten about that).
Has the problem resurfaced?

Were these albums imported in this run session or further back?
Does using the Refresh button on the toolbar help?
Do the albums have a cover in the main view? (order by Date Added to see them first)
Finally, try Tools > Find Missing Artwork > All

1. No, "these" albums were not imported in this run session, nor were they imported separately, but a few days back with a Full Import from LMS. They showed correctly until today.
2. Using refresh does not help
3. Yes, they do have covers in the main view
4. I never use Tool > Find Missing Artwork as it pulls random artwork off the net, and I have no control of what it finds, the quality of the artwork or if it is actually the correct ones. My artwork is applied manually, by me. They all have the same size (500x500), jpg and is always stored in the ID3 tag and never scattered around in folders using various ambiguous filenames.

However, the good news is that restarting Muso today - seems to have solved the issue... :-)
