Missing Album Artwork from iTunes

Post by JohnInToronto »

I reviewed my iTunes (AIFF) library and then imported it into Muso.
However, I notice that there are many missing album covers. These covers are displayed iTunes.
Any ideas as how i can fix this?
Thanks

Where is your artwork? In tags?

Well where do you expect Muso to pick up artwork from? The order Muso will search is :

1 Album folder's image file search - according to the file spec under Options / Artwork (if no filespec is defined, it will skip this step).
2 Embedded artwork search - it only searches for artwork in the first 3 album tracks, if none is found there it skips this step.
3 Last.fm artwork search - only if the option "If no image is found locally, muso can search online resources" is ticked.
4 Amazon artwork search - only if the option "If no image is found locally, muso can search online resources" is ticked.

But we know 2 (reading tags) doesn't work for AIFF files. If you have no images in the album's folder then you'll have to tick "If no image is found locally, muso can search online resources" to allow muso to search last.fm and Amazon - for existing albums you can invoke a manual search after changing any settings (Tools > Find Missing Artwork > Full Albums).
