I really don't know!
Tomorrow I'll return to 2.6.11 and give it a try!

P.S. I tomorrow I'll start a new 3ad for a new problem (sorry)!

I've reverted a change to the tagging library with a patch to 2.6.12.01 - see if this helps, though AFAIK it only affects DSF files.
