Muso legacy and version 2.5 stops loading

Hi
My OS is Win 7 64 bit

I tried installing muso 2.5 which went very smoothly but during loading I get an error and the software crashes

Ditto for legacy verison, except that it started for first time but after giving path to music folder and restarting it crashes when it is "Collating Albums"

Following is the error I get

"Invalid Unicode code point found at index 33
Parameter name Strinput"

New 2.5 version built which should bypass this. If using standalone installer you will have to download and install over the top.

The issue of software not loading has been solved. Thanks for that

My main purpose of installing muso was so I could select tracks remotely by a android device

I put the address displayed by software on my android device but it cant load anything

Same thing works from the pc browser where Muso is installed

Can you help me with this

Like many others have found this is invariably a firewall problem, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution, except to say that the configured port number must be opened up on your network to allow two-way traffic.

To test this, temporarily disable your firewall(s) and try access again. If still no joy, try it without the .local part of the url.

Firewall is completely disabled

Even tried without .local in the URL

Any other solution for this? or anything else I need to check?

Its working now

All I had to do is remove the .local from the URL and the software was adding Computer name to the link generated, instead of the name I had to put the IP address allocated to the PC by the router

Something like this

http://192.168.1.108:5555/
