Browsing hierarchies

Request a new feature to add to Muso, or vote +1/-1 for anyone else's suggestion. Even just a few votes will get it looked into (just one possibly not).

Browsing hierarchies

Post by MDE »

Having made a lot of progress getting naming consistency for artists, works etc via MusicBrainz, I now find myself using hierarchies more - and very useful they are too: e.g to see what recordings I have of a particular work by a composer. However (had to be one ;) ) scrolling through a long hierarchy list can be a pain: there is no "Rolodex" type feature (such as there is in the gallery view) to quickly go to an initial letter and, when I use the mouse wheel, one notch seems to move a page up/down rather than be a smooth continuous function. Any chance of some enhancements here?

I'll look into it, a smoother scroll at least should be achievable, maybe with hotkeys to scroll quickly to a letter.

Got the hotkeys in 2.6.46, might be a smoother scroll on mousewheel for you too.

That's a big improvement, thanks.
