[Solved] Missing Music

Postby shadowlight » Sat Jan 14, 2017 4:25 am

Hello,

Using the trial version of Muso with HQPlayer and I am running into issues with the scan. HQPlayer and JRiver installed on the same system as Muso does not have any issues in pulling all the files. Any idea on what I am potentially doing wrong with the scan setup?

Part of the scan log is attached:

FOLDER IMPORT LOG

FileTypes: wav,flac,aiff,dsf,dxd,dff,aif
Folder: C:\Users\Public\Music

24656 songs parsed
0 new songs added
0 songs updated
0 albums marked as compilations
621 errors
621 duplicates
24656 files scanned in 00:00:49.9685400
622 tracks in muso db

Error messages similar to ERROR scanning 01 Ahmad Jamal - Autumn Rain.wav : TagWrapper creation error/timeoutM.

From Windows explorer properties it says I have 31,060 Files and 2,767 Folders

Just to give me an idea of the size of the problem, how many tracks have been imported successfully into the Muso database (shows top left)? Are all the errors concerning .wav files and if so have any .wavs been imported successfully? I would really need to see the full import log and the corresponding diagnostic log (muso2.log) capturing an import - please send to support@klarita.net. Also if you could send one or two of the files which show errors I can evaluate why the tag reader might be failing.

Please go ahead and mark the thread as resolved. I found the problem and it turned out to be the file type settings. I was using comma instead of space as mentioned on the screen. Once I did that it pulled majority of the music in with deep scan.

Any plans to add support for Tidal forwarding to HQPlayer?
Thx.

No, not sure how Muso would fit into that picture.
