Re: LMS material skin UI does not appear

not IE/Edge compliant My interpretation is that they will add the tag but that if the browser is not HTML compliant then there may still be problems. The implication is that IE might be a problem but that Edge might not be. Which does Muso use? EDIT Superficially it seems to work in Edge OK, but bl...

LMS material skin UI does not appear

Just switched to LMS material skin, which looks very nice in a browser but gives a blank view in Muso.
EDIT: This resulted from trying to find a nice solution to the Qobuz/Tidal issue. If the material skin worked then using the player playlist might be a reasonable work-round for LMS users.

Re: Option for streaming Tidal, Qobuz or highresaudio?

BTW I notice that LMS v8 has integration of Qobuz favourites. Might that be a way forward? My usual approach to Qobuz (which I can now use having at long last got a decent internet connection) is to use the app or browser to choose albums as favourites and then use the LMS Qobuz plugin to play those...

Re: Option for streaming Tidal, Qobuz or highresaudio?

I'm having trouble finding details of a public API for Qobuz So am I! As a workaround might it be an idea to be able to configure a web URL as a Muso bookmark It might. The problem is that the web player doesn't seem to be able to cast to LMS devices (even using Shairtunes) unless I'm missing a tri...

Re: Option for streaming Tidal, Qobuz or highresaudio?

Well worth taking a look at Audirvana. The UI and general functionality is nowhere near as good as Muso (it focuses on being a player rather than library manager), but the Qobuz interface is quite good (can't comment on Tidal as I don't have a sub) - see https://audirvana.com/try-windows/

Re: Option for streaming Tidal, Qobuz or highresaudio?

Personally, I like to use Muso as the control panel for all my music playing, so for streaming, radio etc. I use the LMS playlist view. There is a Qobuz app for LMS so that works OK. However, the interface is a bit crude. Using the windows/iPad app for Qobuz directly is obviously a better visual exp...

Re: Option for streaming Tidal, Qobuz or highresaudio?

Assuming you have Logitech Media Server, you can have (for example) the Qobuz app in that and access it from the playlist within Muso. That's what I do, although the app is not as good as the full Qobuz interface.

Re: Why not Linux for this fantastic piece of software

I suspect that re-engineering Muso for Linux is a major enterprise. However, is it possible for Muso to run under Wine (possibly with Mono)?

Re: My short review

It seems to me that these are some initial comments after just a short while using the product. Unlike much software, the developer responds very well to constructive comments, so I expect that any substantive issues will be addressed. I don’t understand the point about classical music. If you don’t...

Re: Muso call home?

I was using Networx, which only monitors external traffic. However, it maybe that Networx was misattributing data to Muso as it now seems to be attributing that usage to a Windows service. (Windows is a big problem on a metered connection - last month it ate my monthly allowance in a few days via th...
