Muso versus Roon
Now that the Roon software has been updated it seems that Roon will be to work with the Squeezebox line of music streamers. See this recent review: http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/roon-11-computer-audio-playback-software/ From what I can gather it looks like Roon and Muso have many similar ...

MUSO and Windows 10
I have successfully installed Windows 10 on two of the computers that also run Muso. One computer is an Asus laptop and the other one is a HP desktop. The only "trick" needed to get Muso to run under Windows 10 is to enable Net Framework 4.6, which is included with Windows 10. Follow the i...

Re: LMS external hard drives and Muso
They are completely different external hard drives connected to the computer running LMS via USB. If you would please be so kind and add a few more paths I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

LMS external hard drives and Muso
On the "Muso Options" window under the "Music Sources" tab and under the "Squeezebox Server (LMS) sub-tab there are four boxes available for adding Squeezebox Server path prefix/Equivalent prefix on muso. My problem is that I am about to add a fifth local drive to LMS. My qu...

Re: Introduction Thread
I'm a lifelong jazz fan. I first got into jazz back in high school in the early 1970s listening to electric Miles Davis and I've been a fan ever since. I've been using Squeezebox devices since 2006 and MUSO for a little over a year and find the program very helpful for sorting through my rather larg...

Backup strategy
What backup strategy do you use? Mine is pretty simple: I use two external Drobo units (which are basically RAID arrays) to store all my music and these two Drobos are connected via USB to the computer which runs Squeezebox Server. I keep a two full mirrored backups of these Drobos on two other Drob...

Re: What next?
Interesting topic. As you probably know there seems to be a music streamer appearing on the market weekly but I have my doubts about these devices. Almost all of them either do not have any library management features or they use some crappy third party music library application located on a compute...
