Check your path here is correct:
and that that folder contains a file HQPlayer4Desktop.exe
Check also for any errors in C:\Users\Public\Music\muso\logs\hqp.log

It wasn't deleted, perhaps a change to HQPlayer prevents it from being auto-started. Did the change in behaviour coincide with an update to Muso (there haven't been any in quite a long time), or HQPlayer?

Click on the Music Database link top left to edit the database in a grid - from here you can filter, select a group of tracks and edit en-masse. You can import from LMS (Logitech squeezebox system), iTunes, and from file tags, or you can edit the Muso database manually. I'd have to write an import from JRiver and would consider doing so if that's a popular request.

No it's not SQLite, it's a .net dataset, it's not intended to be opened and manipulated outside Muso.

You changed your source tags and re-imported? I cannot quite see on your screenshot if the performer fields have semi-colons or commas in them. In Settings / Album Collation what do you have in the Multiple Items separators field? I was assuming semi-colon only but perhaps you have a comma in here a...
