Re: Muso Filter and Genre Tag
Yes, that is correct. But as soon as I switch to the Album Gallery view, it works as expected. I have also noticed that sometimes when in the Database view, clicking the Wand icon does nothing, and when I examine the log, nothing is added to the log by that action. However as soon as I switch to the...

Re: Muso Filter and Genre Tag
Yes that is correct - the Magic Wand does not apply the filtered results of the current filter preset. Instead it continues to apply the results for the previous filter preset. And it happens when I select the preset from the list.

Re: Muso Filter and Genre Tag
Jeremy, I installed muso on a second PC to try this out. The same problem occurred when in the Database view, but not all the time. Next time it occurred I switched to the Album Gallery view, cleared the queued list, then clicked on the Wand again. Now the queued playlist correctly reflected the cho...

Re: Muso Filter and Genre Tag
Jeremy, thank you for that information, it was helpful. I have now been able to create a filter for multiple genres by manually entering the appropriate text into the Filter field. This playlist is then pushed to HQPlayer installed on a Mac Mini on the same network. One thing I have noticed - the ap...

Muso Filter and Genre Tag
It seems that Muso’s filter feature does not support some ID3 Genre Tags. For example I have some files tagged as Genre: Folk/Rock. They appear in the database correctly, but when I click on the Filter drop-down menu, there is no option for "Genre: Folk/Rock". Likewise I have other files t...

Re: Kaspersky false-positive
I have just downloaded and installed Muso V2.5.21.
My security software (Panda Free Antivirus) quarantined Muso.exe as it believed it was infected. I assume this to be a false-positive, in view of the developers assertion that Muso is clean.
I thought others may be interested in this.

Re: support for HQplayer
After following your instructions, I modified the Muso Root Folder to "\\macmini\Media_Files\Music". Now it is working. I occasionally find I loose control and get this message "Player error: Unable to read data from transport connection. A blocking operation was interrupted by a call...

Re: support for HQplayer
If I do as you suggested : Muso Root Folder: \\macmini.local\Media_Files\Music\ Equivalent HQPlayer Root Folder: /Volumes/Media_Files/Music / - If there is no playlist already queued in HQPlayer, then clicking on the PLAY button in Muso operates the PLAY button in HQPlayer, but no tracks are pushed ...

Re: support for HQplayer
I have found the log file and include it here in case it helps. In this case below, Muso initiated playing in HQPlayer of a completely different track than was queued to play. It seems to me that the URI is not correct. 11:12:29.85 Connected to TCP socket host=macmini.local port=4321 11:12:29.88 Sta...
